Series 59 S&W mags are the oem style, don't know a thing about the HP.
    Those mags(S&W) also fit Keltec P12 9mm.

If you know it all; you must have been listening.WEAR EAR PROTECTION!

William81 is correct. There were several modification kits for both the Camp 9 and the Ruger P9 and P40.

If memory serves, there was also an aftermarket kit years ago to convert it to use Glock Mags.

Thanks for all of the info. Makes sense to be able to use your pistol clips in a carbine. And to be able to match the carbine to the pistol you already own is a real plus. I have never encountered any of these conversion parts in the looking around I have done in the last couple of years. Thanks again.

They are an OK gun, for novice shooters to use as a "home-defense" piece, or as a shtf cache gun. For practice, however, I greatly prefer a 9mm upper receiver-group, for the AR-15. The 223 greatly outperforms the 9mm as a fighting or survival hunting rd, and the "traditional" stocks, etc handle too differently from the AR. If your fighting gun is a Mini-14, then the Camp Gun and a 10-22 might be good training arms. The feel would be closer to being the same, but the sights, safety, etc are a bit different.
