7MMTCU CONTENDER

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A CONTENDER AND ONE OF THE BARRELS IS CHAMBERED FOR THE 7MM TCU ROUND. I SHOT THE GUN, AT 25 - 30 YARDS, THIS PAST WEEKEND TO SEE IF THE INSTALLED SCOPE WAS SIGHTED IN. THE GUN SHOOTS EXCELLENT. MY QUESTION FOR THE KNOWING IS: OUT TO WHAT DISTANCE CAN I EXPECT THE 7MM TCU CARTRIDGE TO HOLD ACCURACY? I WAS ASKED THIS BY MY SHOOTING PARTNER AND I HAD NO CLUE. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE CARTRIDGE IS USED IN SILHOUETTE SHOOTING AT SOME CONSIDERABLE DISTANCES. ANY RESPONSE WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL.[?][?][?]

NO, I'M NOT EXPRESSING ANGER! I TYPE WITH CAPS BECAUSE I ONLY HAVE THE USE OF ONE HAND!

  I shot mettallic silhouettes until bifocals...I have seen groups of 6" and under...NOT MY GROUPS..... with a 10" bull barrel at 200 meters.. I had a scoped XP-100 in 7-TCU, that would hold under that at 200.. These were using the creedmore.."crippled cockroach" position. We were using 150-165 Gr. jacketed bullets . A really neat round... Even killed a few whitetails with it..
