Radom - help identify?

F.B.RADOM Mod.35.Pat.Nr15567.
WaA77 under wings, plastic grips- FB on left, VIS on right
second serial number hand applied under original
has slot for buttstock
blue sanded off first 2 inches on right side
original flap holster light brown leather, belt loops,
magazine pocket

Dad traded for it in 1961, would like
to know more about it.

  Type I Nazi Radom, mfg 1940. Serial number should be 4 digits with an A,B,C or D prefix.
  
  Too bad about the condition, they get pricey over 95%.

  While I don't know what all of the markings mean, I neverless know a little bit about the gun. The Radom model 35 was a Polish gun, patterned after the 1911. After the Germans occupied Poland in 1939 they pressed it into their own service. It is a very well made and robust pistol, it chambers the 9mm Parabellum cartridge.
