Is there any sites where firearms ownner's manuals can be downloaded?

  Many current or semi-current firearms can still be found on the manufacturers website. Others you just have to search and hopefully find it. If you still have no luck, post on here what you're looking for and maybe one of these nice guys will have one and scan it for you.

  Many manufactures will send you an owners manual free of charge. Even when there is a fee listed on their web site I've had them arrive at zero cost including no cost shipping.

  Thankyou, I have tried several hours of searches now without finding anything on the Win. Mod 75. What I am really looking for is anypublications showing illustrations of the 75 as it was sold. I have been told the "sling" and "scope" used were specific to the model. I would like to see what they looked like.

  Manufacturer is the best first choice for manuals. I did find a website a couple of years ago, that sells printed sports ephemera, and got a H&R catalog from the 60's. They also had the odd manual. I will see if I can find it again.

  I located this on the Winchester web site.
  
  Instruction manuals for current Winchester firearms and many older models are available free upon request.
  Many are available on-line and are easily downloaded for printing. You can request one by calling: (800) 333-3288, or (800) 782-4440

  Thank you all for the input. I spent time on the Winchester web site but didn't find the Manual request numbers. I will give them a try tomorrow.The site you sent the illustration from drobs is a little rich for my blood. It is a helpful picture in that the sling looks like it is a "quick-adjust" style which I thought was what was said to be different. I had seen the other pics in the trader vol. but I don't think they were necessarily as they were sold. Thanks again.
