What do you think of the current crop of Dan Wesson target and match 1911's ? Shooting qualities and comparison to others.

  By the current crop did you mean the Patriot series? Have not shot one of the Patriots yet but if it is of as high quality as the Seven or Pointman Major or Guardian Duce it should prove to be exceptional. The performance of the Seven series is comparable to many of your semi-custom brands and the Major and Guardian Duce are the equal to any of the regular production makers (yes, kimberkid even Colt) but at a considerable savings.
