Value of a couple of long guns
Mr. and Ms. Expert pls help with the value of these 2 guns I just recently aquired.[:D][:D][:D][:D]
1. Remingtion Mod.11 Serial# 76671 12guage Semi-auto. Has a marking on the right of the barrel very near the reciever RP in an oval. has browing patents of Oct 8, 1900, Dec 17, 1901, Sept 30,1902, and finally June 18, 1903. This shot gun is in fair to good condition. ie minor pitting on reciever but shiny in the barrel after a little blue wonder that is .
2. as marked "Royal Crown Magnum" 12 gauge magnum 3 inch chamber. Full & Modified chokes. Made in Spain. its a side by side. ?Serial# 46005? It has several Proof marking on it, barrel and reciver, a palm tree or knights head on a shield with an X, crossed paddles with a 2 in the middle, a shield with BP and an oval in it, and crossed swords shield with CH in the middle, also has a badge looking thing with ZH in the middle, and 12-70 also stamped. it is adorned with scroll work on the reciever in an unblued polished metal, and a small amout of scroll work on the barrel where the shell goes in. again its in fair to good condition the stock is a bit worn but no problems with the metal. This one I would also like to know who manufatured the shotgun.

The Knights head and Shield with an X is the EIBAR Proof House Mark of July 1931 to Date..
The Paddles with the #2 is the FINAL Black Powder Proof, one shot per barrel, at 8818 psi, for single- and double-barrel breechloading shotguns. Guns must be completly finished for this Proofing, and the bore must not exceed .016 inch. On the Barrels at the Breechend is where this Proof is located along with Gauge in dicimals of mm, length of Chamber, and weight of Barrels...
Shield with Swords and the Letters CH it the Proof Mark for Smokeless Powder and tested at 12,801psi.
The Shield with BP and the Oval is the Optional smokeless powder proof
of Shotgun Barrels with a Proof pressure of 12,090psi..
12-70 means 12Ga. 70mm shell or 3"
ZH is Guage Proof.....
