HK Fabarms (RED LION) good or bad
Hello, I saw an HK Red lion 12 ga. over in Sports Authority for 499 on clearance, was thinking of getting it since it fit me very good. Is there any thing in particular I should know before I buy it? Is this a good buy, how are Red lions compared to other rifles, (considering Browning gold hunter) need a shotgun for occasional clays, and maybe some pheasant hunt. Please drop some advice

Friends and I shot one of these as a "trial" gun when they were first being imported. Seemed to shoot well on sporting clays course. It was cold and everybody had some type of glove on. We all had problems with the glove bunching up under the trigger, especially leather or neoprene. No problem with the first shot, it was the follow up. The glove would bind between the trigger tip and the trigger guard and wouldn't let the trigger return to reset. Upon looking at it and comparing to Browning, Remington, ect. they all had more clearance. If you shot it barehanded, we never had a problem. This may have been changed as this was one of the first imported guns. Otherwise seemed to be a nicely made shotgun. 0
