Morseth Knife
I bought a Morseth Knife in 1956 when they were in Oregon and made each knife by hand. I have used it since then on all my big game hunting trips. It is in the original sheath that is spring loaded to hold the knife. I know it is quite valuable, but since I am up in years and will no longer use it, could some of you Knife people out there, give me some idea what I should ask for it. I have been selling off some of my "stuff" but have no idea what this rare knife is worth. Can someone help?

Sargents collectors price guide and Kovels guide to knife prices both have collectors groups listed in the back. You can find these at your local library. The Moeseth hand mades are very collectable and depending on model and handle material can be quite valuable. Do not sell them untill you have talked to a Morseth collector.

As far as price goes, on another auction site, they are bringing from $300 to $500. I too would try to find a collector.[;)] 0 -
it's my own personal opinion, but i would not sell it. i sold a knife that i owned for a very long time, and was very valuable. not a day goes by that i don't wanna kick my own a**. just my two cents, cody
