Valmet, rifle shotgun. turkey gun? howed I do?
Hello
I walked in to a small shop that had a Valmet model 412, a 12 ga over 223. Thier is not a scratch on the gun, twwenty four inch barrels. Also has a lepould 1x4 scope and mount. I thought it might be the perfect turkey gun. The guy gave it to me for 475.00. Has anyone had any experince with these? How are they? And how do they shoot? Did I get took? Thankyou beltfed

You did great[:D][:D][:D] I worked for a gun dealer a little more than 20 years ago, and way back then the Valmet cost A LOT more than you payed. I believe they are made in Finland. I have seen different varieties of just replacement barrels on various websights that cost more than you payed for the gun. I'm jealous.[:(]

You made a great buy for one in that condition and with a scope and mounts. If he has one in 12 ga over 30-06 I would buy the wife another Christmas gift and test it quite often for her[:D] 0
