Mossberg 308 for a Buckmark .22 Pistol. OK Trade?
So can anyone tell me if this is a good trade. The guy I am dealing with said he was looking for a small pistol for his son for rabbit shooting, plinking, etc.
The rifle is, of course, a Mossberg bolt action 308. The stock is in great condition and he is adding the four power bushnell scope.
Appreciate your suggestions

Around here(Mo.), the Mossberg would sell for about $100 more than the Browning pistol. I'd say you would be coming out ahead.

There is a Mossburg Collectors Association in Festus Missouri. I contacted them (on the web) about my 1969 or 1970 Mossberg .308 rifle. It shoots great, is accurate, and was just interested in its value. They placed it at around $400! Contact them first and they can tell you what model it is, what problems it might or might not have (mine shoots great but the safety has sometimes come off by itself) and I wouldn't sell mine. 0 -
I have a Mossberg Model 800 in 308, it is real accurate- seems to shoot just as good as my Winchester 70 or Ruger M77. Not exactly the most fancy or pretty but it shoots so good! I think you're trade is a good deal. Just my opinion. 0
