i bought this recently for $10.00. i cannot identify it. i would like to know what its worth? when was it made? power of lens? and anything else that can be provided.

Weaver built a model M34W(ide Angle) in their Marksman Series between 1981 and 1983. It has a value of about $25-$35. .75" tube, 11.875 inches long, 5.5 oz, 4x, field of view 27.0 ft at 100 yd. Likely the Medalist was produced for one of the chain stores by Weaver. I do not know how that would affect value, but I would guess not much. 0 -
thanx guys!!! i found a WEAVER repairman that confirmed what was posted here. i think it will make a good rimfire or airgun scope, or maybe a nice gift for a beginning shooter. i have a few older (40`s, 50`s, 60`s) weaver rimfire scopes, and they have all held up well. best regards, mike.
