IS YOUR GUN THE "SPECIAL FIELD" WITH THE 21 INCH BARREL???

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

It does have real short barrel on it, I would say it is about 21"
It also came with an English stock if that means anything

Sounds like you have the "special field". Basically the same gun as the std lt-20 with the following exceptions:
Has a shorter barrel (early models had a 21" barrel (fixed choke)--later models have a 23" barrel w/choke tubes)
Has a straight grip ("english") stock
Has a shoter forearm (therfore the std lt-20 forearm will not fit-it's too long).Barrels from std lt-20's will interchange (I have used both 26 & 28"on mine) and with the exception of the mag tube all other action and trigger parts are interchangable.
Nice guns that are great for hunting (light to carry and fast to the target).

Is it the LT or LW designation that means the 20 gauge is based off of the smaller receiver rather than the 12 gauge? I don't remember, but maybe there's something to think about there. If not, disregard.

    Thanks to all replies.
It is an 1100 LT "SPECIAL" and I found out that the barrels do interchange. I cut the forearm down so that it would fit my gun,
looks okay considering. I haven't shot it yet maybe after turkey
season I will take it out and see how it shoots
