50 Cal M2 British?
While playing in a box of USGI .50 cal brass, I came accross an interesting case I can't ID. Same size as a GI .50 but it's belted. Headstamp is
"K 39" and "I.W." or "M.I". My cartridge guide says it's Kyoch. Can anyone verify?

I believe you have a cartridge case for a .55 Caliber Boys Anti-Tank Rifle. It dates to the early days of W W II. It was developed in the 1930's by the Brits as a bolt action rifle. Soon after the start of the war it was realized that it wasn't effective against the latest German Tanks, so it was replaced by the PIAT. 0 -
