Go to your home page and do a search on shotgun chokes. Eventually you will find a gunsmith in Selma Alabama { Johnny's maybe ?? } that I believe can ream and tap your bbl to accept Winchoke tubes. Carlson's can modify the bbl to accept Tru-Choke tubes which are not interchangable with Winchoke.

I am thinking of having my 18.5" 870 bbl set up for tubes. It is right at the limit or under for Winchoke and I have two 1400's and I would like to be able to interchange choke tubes between the three.

Brownell's has a solder on choke tube adapter I am considering also.

    Good luck

mag, I searched and found that my barrel is ok both I.D. and O.D. to get tapped. Now I can get a gunsmith to thread it for the Winchoke. Turkey chokes clear down to .640 I.D.
