A-5 "Special Steel" Barrel

Recently purchased Browning A-5 12 ga. 2 3/4" and barrel is imprinted "special steeL" Can I shoot regularlead shotand not hurt the barrel?

  Just no steel shot. "Special Steel" refers to nitro loads, not the type of shot being tossed.
