from what i hear and have read about them they are fine firearms but have not personally used one, there's a guy that sells them here on Gunbroker for a decent price, you should check him out, I think he's out in Utah 0 -
This may not be the gun you mean, but I have been looking at the Austin Halleck inline. That is a very good gun. It is the only inline that has a maple stock, and it has a beautiful stock. The barrel is also very good looking. They are reliable, and will shoot 1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards. I would love to have one of those inlines. As to their sidelocks, I don't know. 0 -
The Austin & Haleck side locks are fine rifles, I just wish that they also made it in caliber .54 rather then just .50. When useing a round ball there is a good bit of difference between the two. 0 -
Quality gun with real eye appeal. Some of the nicest wood I've ever seen on a front-loader. Got to shoot a friends and it was hunting accurate at 175 yards (4" to 5" groups). We ran out of range after that...... 0 -
Top quality side locks. They shoot better than most and would not hesitate to have another. Don't know about the in lines though.
