Can someone give me a rough comparison of scope quality between the Burris fullfield, and the Sightron? I am looking for a pretty good quality scope for under $200. As always thanks for your replies

  I'd have the burris and it's warranty every time.

  Sightron is a fairly decent scope for the money. Burris is better. JustC said it: the Burris warrenty is one word-Forever.

  It's awful hard to find a good quality scope for under $200, unless you buy one used. Buying one used can be a great option for you though. I would definitely buy a "great" used scope way before I'd buy a substandard "new scope". The biggest mistake made in shooting in my honest opinion is when a guy buys a great gun, and mounts cheap optics on it. You can't hit what you can't see. You're much better off with a cheap gun and great optics any day. It really depends on your application, but I would suggest no less than Leupold or Nikon for quality for most all around needs, if you're gonna be shooting long range or benchrest, swarovski or Zeiss will serve you well. $200 won't touch any of the forementioned, but it's my best answer to your question.

  I agree with Woddy. You get what you pay for in a scope and it is your most important component. I have shot Burris for many years and have never had a problem. They are on par with Leupold. I have also had good luck with used scopes of good quality, ie Burris, Leupold, Nikon, Pentax
