I have sold several of the 22/410 combos for kids and find the quality to be very good; however, not up to the NEF. The Rossi is easier for the kids to handle as the receiver of the 22/410 is scaled down and in addition, there is a safety lever. I like this feature due to the fact that little hands have trouble letting the hammer down on a loaded chamber. This safety can be engaged prior to letting the hammer down. The 22/20 gauge is built on a larger frame. I have not yet seen one of the heavier caliber guns so I cannot comment on those. I think, from what experience I have seen, that they are a very good buy for the money; as is the NEF.
