T/C Contender question?

Any Contender experts out there? I wound up with what I think is a screw in choke for a Contender. It is about 2 inches long and has a wing nut like tool that fits in the end. External threads and about 30 caliber with tapered rifeling.
Any info would be appreciated.

  Sounds like a shot choke for a 357 mag.
