When they describe a barrel as being light or heavy what are they refering to. Which is better and why?

    Thanks

Because that's the way they work. The barrel on a .45 is "wobbly" because when the action is open the only thing holding it in the pistol is the link pin. Accuracy is only affected if the barrel is "wobbly" when the action is closed. On other pistols the barrel stays fixed to the frame. The Luger is an example, so is the P38.
