I have been offered a Glock 27 .40 s&w compact for a Springfield Armory 1911a1 parkerized. Both guns are used but in very good condition. Would I be getting ripped off. I have checked the GB for both items and the prices are close.

Values are about the same - it would depend on what you want. If you are drewling for a .40 and don't really shoot the .45 then you are getting a good deal. Visa-vi with the other person. I don't think you would be getting ripped, as both of these are not like 1 of 100 or a discontinued model.... Not to say they are not a desirable weapon - hell send them both to me and I'll decide[:D]
