which bpcr to buy

i'm trying to decide which bpcr rifle to buy. remington is making a repro rolling block with a retal of 1500 without sights. seems to me that with the addition of sights i will have nearly the cost of a c sharps or shiloh sharps. also i havn't heard if the remington is accurate i don't want to buy something i can't get to shoot. anyone have any thoughts on the matter. anyone other that snuff that is, i'm sure he has an opinion lol

  I am shooting a D.Pedersoli 1874 Sharps,45/70.Shoots
  real nice,so far out to 500 yds.Check out this site...

  The Remingtons are pretty,like the original Creedmoors, but do not have "set" triggers, I shoot Shilohs and C.Sharps, and have shot the Pedersolis, I like all of these, you can get a model 74 Shiloh or C.Sharps used with sights on the auction sites for far less than new, I have a friend that won a C.Sharps Hi-Wall w/ MVA sites for under $2,000

  Browning has (had?) an excellent BPCR; I have one in .45-90 and it has a Badger barrel. I understand that these are no longer being made but you may be able to find a new or used rifle in 45-70 or 45-90. These come with a very good tang vernier sight and front globe with level and windage for a lot less than either a Shiloh (which I also have) or C. Sharps. The Pedersoli is a very good rifle for the price and you can add after market sights and have an inexpensive BPCR. I have one of the first 40-65 cal. rifles imported by Dixie Gun Works; it is a plain rifle but well made and shoots better than I can hold. Emery
