Has writting on it that say" War finish"

  Made by Webley & Scott Company in Birmingham England. This was a revolver made during W W II only. Circa 1942/1945. It was chambered for the English version of our .38 S & W cartridge.
  W & S's products were very high quality. Because of greater production during the war they had to take "shortcuts" in their manufacturing process. Thats why your revolver is marked "War Finish".
