Ithaca Shotgun side by side 12 gauge

Anyone have any info as to the possible value of such a gun? It has engraving and a gold trigger...its a nice looking gun! Email me if you need a better description and could help.

  First welcome to the forum.
  
  I let this go a while as I was hopeful that someone with more experience with Ithaca's than I have would have a go at it. But that not being the case, I guess I am elected to take a swing at it.
  
  You have not given us very much information to work with. There are any number of Ithaca's in the higher grades that have engraving and gold triggers. Just on the very remote off chance --- is there any gold inlay on the trigger guard????? If so what is it????? If you respond with the very distinctive markings, then this posting is going to suddenly become a very hot topic.

  Anthony;
  First, Ithaca built a number of sxs's. The value
  depends on many things. Condition, model & "GRADE". Based on
  the limited info you gave us it would be a tall order to appraise it.
  Given it is engraved and inlaid, I would guess it is one of the better grades. If you can give us a discription of engraving, gold inlays and what they are and locations, We can be more precise. Ithaca doubles are VERY collectable, and some command very high prices. As Quail Hunter states there are models and Grades that are highly sought after. In any event, these are QUALITY doubles in any grade, the were hand fitted and finished and hand regulated then the barrel ribs soldered on to the barrels. Price ranges from low to high
  are $700 for field grades in mint condition to several thousand dollars for Presentation and Dove Grades. These are of course, ball
  park figures. Would need details and photos, to nail down closer figures.

  Open the action and look at the left front corner of the watertable. There should be a number indicating the grade.
