Ruger P-90 in 10mm?
I own a ruger p90 45ACP and was eading an article about it the other day. The author tells how the gun was designed for pressures of the 10mm which was hot at the time. I was wondering if it is possible to get a conversion kit to fire 10mm in my p90, or could the gun be converted by a gunsmith? Thanks for any help!

I can't answer your questions directly, but the pressures of a 10mm are quite a bit higher than the .45. I haven't seen any conversions, but I haven't been looking for them either. I'd get positive confirmation somewhere reliable before converting.
The .45 is a great round, but once you shoot 10's everything but magnums seem kinda weak. You won't regret it if it is possible to convert it.
You can also find the Bren-Ten's available some times. They are probably the closest feel to your P-90. S & W made a 10mm in the 10xx series, Colt made the Delta Elites chambered in 10, and Glock does and still makes them in the model 20 and 29. I think they are the only one currently selling the 10 in a semi-auto. S & W released a revolver, model 629 (I think) that shoots both 40 S&W and 10mm.0 -
The S&W 10mm is the Model 610, I think it was made for some type of action match where the full moon clips would facilitate a fast reload in a revolver. You might be able to take a 40 S&W on the Ruger platform and rechamber the barrel, but do not remember if they made a 40 in the P-90 series. You could probably get Barsto or Briley to make you a 10mm barrel for the P-90, but the bolt face would have to be reworked, and that might be a problem. 0 -
To convert your Ruger to 10mm you would need a slide,barrel,mag and springs.I don't think you'll find them for the Ruger.You can buy a 10mm Witness and also buy a .45 conversion for it.
