Can you shoot lead bullets from a Glock ?

  Can you? Yes.
  Should you? No.
  
  You got to use very hard lead to keep the poly rifling from peeling the bullets and obstructing the bore. I almost blew up my G21 firing early Winchester Ballisticlean ammo. The rifling was rubbing the soft copper jackets and leaving copper fuzz and scuff in the bore. Stick to the FMJ rounds.[;)]

  Glock recomends that you don't for the same reason kingjoey mentioned.
  
  Now on the otherhand some folks do, but thoroughly clean the barrel after every use.
  
  What most pro's recomend for shooting lead out of glocks is to purchase an aftermarket barrel for your pistol, then you would be able to shoot lead bullets without worry.
  
  Some of the manufacturers are as follows: EFK FireDragon, KKM, Barstow, and some others I can't think of at the moment. They run in price from the cheapest to the more expensive, in the neighborhood of $90-$250.
  
  And I forgot the plug for Gunbroker, do a search for Glock barrels and bunch will jump up for you.
  
  
  On my Glock35 I have two additional barrels for it made by EFK in 40S&W, and a KKM in 9MM. The manufacturers mentioned all make quality barrels, The cheaper ones not mentioned, some folks have said they are satisfied with them for what it's worth.
