Revised Request for Czech/98 Mauser Info
I posted an earlier request for information on the proper base to use on a Czech/98 Mauser but I provided the wrong information. The correct information is the action has one hole drilled at the back of the bolt and two holes drilled in the action in front of the bolt. This is the reverse of how I described the locations of the holes in my previous post. Hey, I never claimed I was bright!
In any case, I'd appreciate any recommendations on which base I should buy. On my other Mauser actions - the High Rings seemed to be ideal so I'll probably buy a set of them.
Thanks for any recommendations.

Hey capecod--
It sounds to me like that action is drilled for a one piece bridge mount like the Redfield and some others. If you have a Brownell's catalog you might find some pictures of bridge mounts; also a table of manufacturer's part numbers for a specific action. The clue is a single rear ring screw hole.
Good luck,
