Remingtons 700 matte finish

I am interested in purchasing 700 ADL synthetic but was concerned how well the matte finish holds up. I am not a big fan of synthetic or the matte combination. Since cost will be an issue with the purchase of this gun (extra $150 for wood/blue) how happy are you guys with Remington's finish and synthetic stock.

  Keep a teflon oil on it, and you won't have any problems. rem-oil works great, and over time, makes it harder for things to bond to, or penetrate the surface.
