  I have an M-4 style upper on my Ar-15. How do i remove the handguard?Thanks for your help.

  Pad the jaws of a vise well. Clamp at the magazine well but not too tight. Now take a 7" sidegrinder and........................

  With an EMPTY rifle, push the "delta ring" behind the handguard back (it's spring-loaded) and you should be able to remove the halves.
