I was given an old cavalry gun by my uncle and would like to figure out what the history is...can you advise? I have pictures.

  I'd like to add a bit of information that seems to elude most folks...
  The Winchester 370 was only made from 1968 to 1971....and Made in 'Canada'. A Total of 221,578 were reported as being made...Its a nice little Forrager gun...but only commanding $75.00 in Excellent Condition.....Best.....
