Help P89 Ruger

I cant get the slide stop pin out of it to to get the barrel and slide off to clean it. I see a spring and pin there but i thought i would ask some one before i took a chance scratching it.

Need barrel assembly aff to clean

  Lock the slide back, push the ejector forward and down. If you squeeze the slide back just a little bit while pulling the pin it comes out easy.

  I can get all the way out except about an eighth of an inch and it feels like like something locks it there so it wont com out.
