Rossi Model 62
I have a Rossi model 62 gallery rifle in 22lr. Is it safe to also shoot shorts in it also? While it doesn't specify s,l,lr on the gun, I would assume you can. Am I correct or is this practise unsafe?
Thanks,
Don

String - These sound a little high to me but 21st Blue Book says:
100% $185.00 - 98% $145.00 - 95% $115.00 - 90% $95.00 - 80% $85.00
Says last mfg. sugg. retail was $240.00! (These prices are for the blued steel...there were stainless and nickel finishes as well - there was also an octagon barrel offered) Prices are about the same for 23" rifle and 16-1/2" carbine. We've got one (Mod 62 SAC Carbine) here that I bought for my son when he was about 10 or 11. It has been a fine little gun and I am only recently faced with a repair to the magazine tube caused by a mishandling event. No mechanical problems otherwise. I don't know when yours was made...I bought this one new in 1985 and its s/n is G175xxx. Best, Jim
