Winchester 1200 Help
I have a Winchester 1200 12ga that has no slide release on it once you pump a shell in to the chamber the only way to eject it is to shoot the gun.My books are showing the slide release is supposed to be on the left side of the trigger gaurd behind the trigger but there is not one there or even a slot for one.I have never seen one like this and would not think they would make a gun that you had to shot to unload.Does anyone out ther no anything about this model? Any information would be appriciated.
Thanks

I would contact Winchester. I have a 1300 that does have a slide release as you indicated. 0 -
Without seeing a picture or the gun, I'll make a guess that someone put a triggerguard housing from a Md 1400, (the automatic) into your gun by mistake. They do fit, but they are not interchangeable. since your triggerguard housing has no cut out for the release, it sure sounds like a 1400 trigerguard housing. Regards Dave 0 -
i dont have the web, but go to NUMRICH and punch-up the book they sell for about 15 bucks. it shows exploded views of almost every gun made and pick the part you need from the item #. they have very good service. 0
