How do you sight in a SAA
I have been shooting Cowboy Action with a couple of 45lc Colt Cowboys. They are durable and shoot to the point of aim. I recently purchaced a couple AWA Longhorns in 357. These guns shoot 6-7 inches low at 30 feet with every load I have tried. I hate to file the front sight clean off. Any suggestions. Thanks.....Larry

Chamge the ammo. You'll have to work up a load that the thing shoots well to point of aim. Or file the front sight. 0 -
Generally, a heavier and slower velocity bullet will have a higher point of impact.

I usually modify the sights till it shoots to the point of aim with a typical factory load but when I do my "cowboy" shooting 90% of the time I don't bother using the sights LOL. So I guess it's a moot point from my perspective.
