best T/C pistol shots

What can a reasonably good marksman expect to do with a Thompson Center Encore pistol with a .243 (or .223) 15 1/2 inch barrel in terms of long shots??

Anybody out there shooting deadly accurate 100+ yds. consistently??

What's the best you've done either range group or one-time hunting shot?

  was it a really really big fat tee and you got the ball off the tee by shooting the tee???? just joking..that's a fine shot with any rig.

  I have seen Metallic Silo. (IHMSA) shooters consistently hit chicken size targets at 200 meters with open sites and half size chickens with scoped TC's at the same distance.

  Don't know about the Encore or those two calibers, but I can consistently hit the rams at 200yds., standing, two-handed, with no part of my arm from the wrist to the shoulder touching my body or the other arm, open sights, with a 22lr out of a 10" barrel Contender.
  Got another in 30-30Win that shoots cloverleafs at 175yds. with a ten-incher as well.
  Got a 357 mag. that only holds 1" at 100yds.; must be shot out[}:)]

  I don't own an Encore but have a Contender with eleven barrels.I shoot a .223 12" at clay pigeons on the banking at my club.I have a Tasco Custom Shop Scope 7 Power.I can hit the clays at 165 yards shooting off the bench.I'm 68 yrs. old.

  Thanks guys, you answered my question. The T/C pistols can be pretty durn accurate. ATF you should open a school, sir. Good shootin'.
