6mm-284 wildcat
I have a custom rifle made by bill myers on a mouser action it has a bull barrel of normal length I would like any info you can tell me about the round and if possible approximately how much a gun like this would be worth. thanks Robert

It is really difficult to establish a value on a rifle that is pretty much one of a kind. There are a lot of old Mauser 98 based rifles around that have been turned into sporters and they mostly go for $250-$400, something like that. A rifle in a wildcat cartridge (not that it is not an interesting round) will need to find just the right buyer. Unfortunately the fact that it is a custom doesn't translate into big bucks on the resale and it will go as a shooter. Look for a varmint hunter that reloads. 0 -
If the barrel was in the 29" range and was not shot out,a stock with match dimensions you'd have a possible long range gun. the cartridge you mention is the premier long range round in comp. shooting, camp perry etc. without looking at it it's hard to determine value. a good longrange gun will cost $2,000. + 0
