Model 77 Sizemaster 12/20ga?
Anyone have an idea what kind of gun this is. I saw one in the paper for last night for $70. Haven't got a chance to call the guy yet.

Bummer I think it's a reloading device. I was hoping to find out it was some version of the Ruger Model 77 or some foreign really expensive over under.

The m77 has me a little off center. If it's a MEC sizemaster, it's an older single stage shotgun reloading press. It's been a while since most everyone either uses a MEC progressive or 600jr of recent history. I'd say made in the late 60's,early 70's. Still sericeable, parts still available. I think it uses a squeeze collet
to resize the case head instead of verticle resizing like the 600jr.
I could be wrong on this whole deal tho. Memory starts fading after 30.0 -
The Sizemaster 77 is in fact the Mec single stage reloader with the collet that resizes the brass of a shotgun shell. It is a single stage reloader and has been since replaced by the Sizemaster 82. It is currently made in 10,12,16,20,28 and 410 guage. They sell in the neighborhood of $150 new.
Without the NRA, the second ammendment would already be gone!0
