700 LTR w/ 'Fat' PSS stock
Does anyone know?
I am very intereste in getting a 300 SA Ulta Mag Remington 700 LTR....
but I want to fat stock that is on the Standard PSS...
Will the fat stock work on the 700 LTR if I am planing to the following mods also.
CUSTOM FITTED STEEL TRIGGER GUARD SCREWS
RECEIVER TORQUED TO 65 INCH POUNDS
MAGAZINE FOLLOWER MODIFIED
FREE FLOAT BARREL
BARREL CROWN TRUED OPTICALLY SET SEAR ENGAGEMENT

barrel is already floated in the LTR. It is a PSS with a shorter barrel and three flat flutes. The reciever should already be torqued to 65inlbs but you should re-check it. I have used both, and both stocks appeared to be the same to me. They are a Sendero/VS/VSSF/Sendero SF stock in black with an extra sling swivel up front. Now if you want a wider forearm, look at the Hs Precision tactical stock ($499), with the adjustable cheek piece, and adjustable butt spacer. that has a wider forearm than the PSS/LTR stocks.
Go to the HS Precision websight if you wish to purchase another stock, as that is the company who manufactures them.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
