Colt Ultimate Officers Model 45
I have two of these beautiful guns that was purchased 10-15 years ago and am searching for a good estimate on the current value. Both have been fired but are in outstanding condition. Photos Available.

hey captain, your post is pretty ambiguous in some ways.
is your gun the general officer type 1911
is it a series 80 officers model
when you say you purchased them 10-15 years ago, was this brand new or fairly new or are we talking war time
just the plain officers model series 80 mfg. 1985 there is 7 different kinds or finishes.
if you're talking about a military officer as in general, they have substantial value.

The Ultimate(high polished stainless)finish was offered from 87-96 and really shows off some detail work. Colt has made many dif limited run guns either for distributors or 'true' Custom shop guns and although I do not know of the Ultimate Officers as a specific issue does not mean that it did not exist. If you give Colt a call at 1-800-962-COLT they will probably be able to help you with some specific info on your gun.
