His royal highness[:o)], Kingjoey is correct, the Bushmaster is made to mil-spec, HOWEVER, it was NOT designed to use steel cased ammo.
Mil-spec does mean tougher than normal, don't get me wrong, it just doesn't mean indestructable. Military firearms are designed to be used with brass cased ammo, and they are designed to fire thouseands upon thousands of those rounds. Another thing to keep in mind is that the military can afford to replace parts left and right, when they have replaced the same part too many times, they "retire" the weapon from service and buy new ones.
Shooting a small amount of Wolf from time to time in your Bushy will not mean the end of the world, probably won't even phase it in the least, but if you feed it a steady diet of Wolf, you'll encounter problems sooner or later. My advice is this-
Just be ready to pay for the new parts to offset the cost of the ammo.
BTW-I am a the unit armorer for an US Army Nat'l Guard Infantry company, as well as having been an active duty Infantryman for 8+ years.
