glock 30's are great guns. as far as good deals go, there are a few things to consider. 1 being the barrel, is it in good shape? the 30 has octagon rifling. 2. does it have any of the extras as in adj rear sights , fixed meprolight sights, trijicon sight? these all add value to the gun as well as tactical lights or lasers.
Just yesterday I purchased a 23 with the trijicon sights and tactical light for $400.00 now it's only a .40 but that was a good deal
The model 30 books at:
MSR $700
100% $585
95% $490
95% $425
add $30 for adj rear sights
add $80 for fixed meprolight sights
add $105 for fixed trijicon sight
and the lights run about $100
hope this helps0 -
I forgot to add that extra barrels run about $150
I see these all the time for 450-6000 -
I'm very partial to this gun. Two detractions are from its chunkiness--it might not be a good fit if you have smallish hands and it won't be slim enough for some concealed carry modes that might be better served by a Glock 36. Having ten shots of .45 in a rather accurate compact gun is extremely appealing. If I wasn't into shooting, I'd be very happy if this was the only gun I owned.

trsmith, a question.Nope, two questions..What are meprolight sights? What are trijicon sights? I have a Glock 26, fixed sights, white dot on the front post, white outline around the rear sight. Is it one or the other, or is it just a standard sight for Glock? Ok durn it..THREE questions..hehe
