.22 Italian Derringer

I have a .22 over/under derringer in stainless. It is very old, and the only marking on the gun is 'Made in Italy'. It is not in good condition, the grip is missing and has some pits in the barrel exterior, but it fires. Is it worth anything?

  If it is stamped "Made in Italy", then I assume that your definition of "very old" is 30-40 years. In mint condition it wouldn't be worth much; abused, it's worth about nothing.
  
  If it were mine, I'd put it in my "Hold for gun turn-in bounty" box.

  Yeah, I assumed so. Being a sentimental piece, I was toying with the idea of restoring it, or at least trying to find a grip to fit it.

  The only thing "sentimental" about a piece of trash like this, is: if you were to "fix" it and shoot it
