Winchester 70 Info

Does anyone know of a web sight that I can get info on a current recent production model 70? Serial number starting with a G. Thanks..

After 1968 prefix 'G' is found in front of numbers. Records for 1975 and 1976 are incomplete and were rounded off...I have G numbers from 941901 thru G 1537134....If your Model 70 falls into this Grouping....send me the Number via Direct email and I'll email You back with the Year of manufature......

My is G215xxxx. This gun is a lightwieght compact with a stainless barrel and blued action. I am trying to find the value of it for a fellow, but can't find it in any books. I called Winchester a week ago but haven't heard from them.
