35 Newton Cartridge
I need to know what the base dia of a 35 Newton cartridge is. I can only find information on the 35 Remington and the 35 Whelin. They are not the same.

According to my case forming references, the head diameter (just ahead of the extractor groove) is .520" and the rim is .520", making it technically semi-rimmed rather than rimless. 0 -
Per "Barnes" #7. The base dia. is .523 . 0 -
OOPS, typo! Head .525", not .520" - VERY SORRY!!! 0 -
i use to have a .30 newton and made cases by fireforming 7mm rem. mag. brass. the 'belt' on the mag brass is very close to the base dia. of the newton case. this leaves a small 'groove' above the former belt but the cases worked ok. 0
