tritium sights
i have an old winchester 94 that i love to hunt with, the problem is that as i get older i have a harder time seeing the sights in fading light. is it possible to have tritium sights put on this gun?

On hand gun. thanks Don

One word... Cool!
Simply put, they look like they do during the day (round circles) only they glow green at night.
Trijicon's are arguably the best built with the best warranty. Check out their site and see if they have a set for the gun you want to put it on.

I have them on my sig and they work really well, but if you do have to use them at night you better be on mark the first shot cause the flash blinds you from the sights. not for long but long enough. 0 -
Thanks that is what i wanted.

Tritium is a radioactive isotope with a half-life of 9 years. So, after about 5-6 years they will start to dim, and by 10-12 years you will want to replace them (at a hefty price). Seems like a waste of money to me, unless you are on a SWAT team and the tax payers pay to replace sights for you.
