No mix LSA & CLP. Why?
In the army/air force maintenance manual it states not to use CLP & LSA oil in the same rifle at the same time without first dry cleaning the rifle. Does anyone know the reason for this.

Dennis;
The reason for this is that these oils don't play well with others. It can also be a problem using both on the same rifle even after cleaning. But, mixing them with other types causes gumming and in extreme reaction cases corrosion. Personally i'm not terribly fond of ether one. I prefer a premium gun oil, like, rem-oil or outers to clp or lsa.0
