I have a lamanated stock for a Howa on the way. Don't expect any problems. You are correct on the careful work and patience. Mine should be here in a few days. Will let you know if I run across anything special.

Thanks! It looks pretty straight forward to me too, but you are probably 2 - 3 weeks ahead of me, and I would appreciate hearing about it if you see something that gives you trouble. Thanks again.

Where did you buy your Howa action? I had a 300 win mag a few years ago made by Howa,it was super accurate.I would love to build my own rifle with one of there barreled actions. Randy W.[?]

I have a custom rollover ordered from Richard's microstock. Boyd's have laminated stocks for the Howa also. A liitle less money but I have used one from Richards before and the quality and inletting was very good, so I went with what I knew. The wait is really killing me thou. [:(]

The Boyd's stocks are also high quality with excellent drop in fit. The action is flat bottomed with a locking lug, very well designed for a tight fit. The glas bedding should give no problems.

Thanks for the info. Think I will order a Boyd's JRS for the Howa and a Richards microfit classic for an Interarms Mark X. Know I will have to wait for both of them.
