Magazine holders & sights
Hi, Im looking for the magazine holders that are belt loop and rotate on the belt so you can adjust them depending on where you wear them. I have seen them at the range i go to but the guy doesent know where he got them. Anyone know where i might find these things? and they can NOT be paddle..
For the sights, My springfield 1911 came with Novak Night Sights. I dont care for these too much they are not adjustable and i have to change my sight picture from every other gun i own to shoot this. I want to replace them, does anyone know what type of sights will fit on my gun? I am pretty new to buying all the different parts, it used to be buy a gun shoot it.. clean it, etc.. now im getting into the sport of competition more and more, and want to do it right. I see there are dovetail which if i had to guess thats what i would say it is.. but not 100% positive..
Thanks

Hi jr, and welcome.
I believe Fobus makes the rotating mag pouches, and maybe also Uncle Mikes. I use some old leather Safariland verticle dual mag pouches for my Colt. Have had them for years.
As far as sights go, most "combat" type competition shooters use fixed sights. At least they did when I was shooting regularly. Several outfits in SGN offer fixed and adjustable sights, as well as Brownell's. I don't know if the front sight on your SA is a dovetail or a stake-on, but sights are around for both applications.
Good Luck with your competition.

I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6!0
