Need advise on FEG P9R 9mm
I am looking for advise about FEG P9R 9mm Browning High Power clone.
I never had any experience with this gun, is this gun OK or should I walk away from it? It is really in good shape and price is right but I do not know anything about it performance and reliability.

Real good clones, I've shot those and the FM-made (Argentine) ones and both of them work great.

P9R's are not actually a clone of the High Power. The PJK 9HP (also from FEG) are a single action copy of the Browning, but the P9R is a combination of the Browning design along with some variations of the S&W semi-auto. The PJK takes the same mags, grips, barrels, triggers, etc. as the Browning High Power. The P9R takes its own specific mags, parts, etc. There aren't any aftermarket fitted grips for the P9R either.
They are a decent gun, but since they aren't part for part interchangeable with any other gun, you may have difficulty with accessories on down the road. There are some P9R pre-ban 14rd mags available as well as the post ban 10rd mags.0 -

Now I have to make decision which one to buy PJK 9HP or P9R. I never had Single Action gun and all my handguns are Double Action. Does anyone have experience switching between guns, and difficult is it?

Most of us oldtimers had to switch the other way--from single to double action, as the doubles used to be far and few between. The problem with most double actions lies in the difference in weight and length of trigger pull between the first and second shots. Your proposed change-over from double to single should be easier, as the trigger pull is always the same. 0 -
I own a PJK it's a fine shooting gun. It's shoot's strait and I have never had any problems with it. It came with a browning 13 round clip and I put a set of pacmyar grip's on it.It's the gun I carry with me. I understand it's parts will interchange with the browning Hi-Power. 0
