Beretta Value
I'm trying to find the value of a Beretta 22L.R. serial#24550. The only other number I have is 040545/R. It was bought in Italy after the war. It's in excellent condition.

The collecting of military handguns used by the W W II combatants is a very popular field in our hobby.
The Beretta's were made and used by both the Italians and the Germans who were there allies during the war.
If the Beretta is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, and it can be substantiated/proven (NO BS WAR STORIES) that it was the property of a certain German General, it would very desirable to a collector. This MIGHT translate into a value of four figures. As I said above, the provenance has to be substantiated.0
